Maxijet magnetic cleaner mod

Hey guys. I may be loosing my mind, but I think I saw a thread a while back where someone had epoxied their maxijet suction cup holder bracket to a magnetic cleaner (Walmart brand) to make a cheap magnetic holder. I can't find the thread for the life of me. Has anyone done this? Is there a recommended brand of epoxy? Where can it be found?
I'm really struggling with paying $30 for a magnet.

You could just use a mag float instead of paying 30 bucks for a scraper.

I found a thread a while back and bought some epoxy coated 60# magnets from Gaussboys. They are really strong and work great on my 75G. Some people had problems with them rusting in the tank, so I used superglue to glue the magnets to the bracket and then covered with lots of silicone (only the one that goes in the tank). So far they are holding up great and they are cheap at $4.50 each.
