Maxijet Powerheads

hey are the maxijet powerheads really that good. every1 says there awesome for the price im about to get 4 maxijet 1200's for my reef tank. im wondering if there really that good cause they are really hella cheap.. 70$ for 4 of them. just wondering before i buy them

MaxiJets are supposed to be the best along with Aquaclear powerheads.

Better than any other type powerheads I've ever used. The price you mentioned is about normal for MJ 1200's....you'll like them.

check the gph rating on them... i bought a maxijet 400 and i can pee harder than that thing can pump... very reliable, but weak. definitely worth 70 bucks for 4, if they work well.

Yea I use a Maxijet 1200 to pump by protein skimmer and an Aquaclear 201 to pump by UV. I like them both, I've heard good things from everybody else about them too.

I use 3 Maxijet 1200s in my tank. They work like a charm!

ahhah yea ima be getting 4 1200's to just use in tank to bump my flow up. then ima have my cs2+ euroreef bump up the flow. then my dual overflows and i dunno what there gph rate is..... its a 125gallon with 1" bulkhead i think... so i think its 600 each.. would i get a mag12 which is 1800gph but after the length its gotta go up to the return and T off to exit out both sides of the tank would that work or not?
does this sound like a good X flow for my 125 reef?

i have a mj1200 in my 40g, it really moves water. i remember reading a post from somebody that said to go with the 900, because it uses less juice for the gph, but i would still go with the 1200
