Are these corals easy to care for? I had one red open brain and it didnt survive. At te time i had only one t-5 light on a 55gal. Now I have the t-5 and a 130W coralite 50/50 power compact.

I have the Aqualight Pro 150 watt Metal Halide lights on my tank and I have placed mine at the bottom of the tank (125 gallon) resting on a rock ledge. I've only had it for 3 weeks now but it opens up every night to feed.

they are easy yes. open brains (wellsophyllia, trachyphyllia) should go on the subsrate, but it doesnt sound like you have a whole lot of light to keep one at that depth. you could try a favia or a maze brain high up in the tank maybe, but you may want to up your lighting in the future.
