i put these wrasse in my tank will they fight to the death or just fight for territory then stop

Which size tank? They are conspecifics, so will probably fight in smaller tanks. A Flasher and a Fairy wrasse will do better, IMO.

60 gallons ive put two mccoskrers at one time they did fine

the carpenters is more and more active every day and eats like a pig i guess the mccoskers wrasse wanted to tell whose boss
