McDonald's

The secret to McDonald's is you have to special order if you want a burger. There's really only 2 sandwiches that are worth anything, the double quarter pounder for a combo meal, or the Double Cheeseburger/now McDouble for value menu ordering. If you just order one, without requesting anything, of course you're going to get one that's been under the heat lamp. I always get "ketchup only" and skip the pickles/onions/mustard mess. At least the sandwich will be freshly assembled and they always taste significantly better.

Yea, mic d's does have the best fries by far. I like the bigmac and the double cheese burgers... I have noticed that some mic d's food are better than others. With that being said, im not in fantastic shape but I will not eat at a mc d's more than once a month. Not only is it greasy but it runs through my system like a prune through and elderly person.

Taco Bell is mostly mutton, not saying that's a bad thing though. You can fix up a quarter pounder like a big mac if you want...I don't eat there though and wouldn't even want to try that.

I eat my fill of Mcdonald's in a month. I love the southern style chicken sandwich, the chicken bacon club, and double cheeseburger...not all at the same time...these are the meals I like
. I think Wendys has the best fries however...LOVE THEM!!

Nothing beats Steak and Shake fries. BK is the worst. Making your own fries owns though. Sometimes I do that and it is ALWAYS better than anything you can get from fastfood. Probably because it is always fresh.

I like the shoestring fries of steak and shake occassionally, but their shakes
. I agree BK fries are pretty terrible...most of their food is IMO. As far as making my own fries...I have had a deep fryer now for 3 years and have not used it once. No particular reason as to why not, just haven't

I was a manager at McDonalds for several years, prior to college, and I still love their food. As for sandwiches sitting under a heat lamp, the holding bins are gone and have been for about 16 years. The transfer bin is heated, but sandwiches are made to order now. I suppose if something is made and for some reason it isn't immediately taken by the customer who ordered it, it might get left on the transfer bin. But that is rare and only happens if the order is cancelled after they make it. I had my cholesterol tested every quarter and I had extremely low levels and I loved the bacon and deep fried stuff. I understand some McD's are ran poorly and the food suffers. The main culprit of greasy food is when the shortening is old. Instead of cooking out of the products, old shortening sticks to it and soaks in the product.

Me too. I always get the number 6 there...two steak chalupas and a hard taco. Stupid court system
. They should make the stipulations to sue more difficult...add something in like...if you don't win you have to die. Or perhaps divy up the large winnings rationalized as punishment to the company. You get a couple hundred and the rest of the millions go to charity as you are not trying for any personal gain, but rather punishing "the man".
