I wanted to start a thread so I could look back and see my progress. My father and I built this stand a few months back and its finally beginning to actually look like a saltwater tank. Below are a few pics of the build and how she sits now.

Today I was looking around in the tanks and I saw What I belive to be copepods on t he glass near the sand. How did they get in there. Only thing I have is Live rock. Could they live on shipped rock?

That is an AUSOME tank! What kind of fish and corals r u goin to put in it? Cant wait to see what itll look like in a few months.

Yes, they come in as hitchhikers on the rocks.

I am going to start with some easy corals, and move on to some SPS. Its going to be more of a reef tank than a fish tank.

Well I figured I'd dust this thing off and update a little. In the last few weeks I have switched to a 55 gallons sump.
