what's the best medication for fin repair, if there is one? and do i need to use this medication in a hospital tank...if not i rather save the trouble of stressing the fishes out trying to catch em. thanks

not due to disease but aggression. a clown got a big tear in left pectoral fin because of cbs. clown still very healthy, actively eating and swimming to me, but parts of her fin just flaps around as she swims. i don't know if i should just leave her alone to heal since its not just a small nip...it doesn't seem to impede her swimming though

If you can get some zoecon, you can add that to food. But, aside from that, I'd say let it heal on its own.
However, what are doing about the aggression?
 
How about melafix or tea tree oil?? I think that helps rapidly heal fins and such.... and it wont kill anything...
