Twice I’ve lost all of my fish to an ick outbreak. I have no QT tank and now am going in a different direction. I was unable to medicate because of the coral. I’ve now gotten rid of all of the corals and am going to have a fish only tank. I have a 55 gallon tank with live rock. My question is if I get ick again and medicate the tank, what will happen to the live rock? I’ve heard it will kill the live rock but what will happen to the water parameters if it does? Please advise. Thanks!
