I remember reading on here somewhere that someone had a sponge filter with metal in it. I noticed the very bottom of my sand bed had an orangish color to it. Took my filters apart and sure enough they do have metal in them. Never noticed it before. Just wanted to know of any negative effects if any besides the rusty discoloration. All critters and dwarves are still doing well.
