My 175w pendant light quit and I am pretty sure it is the ballast.
It has a magnetic ballast and capactior. Should I stick with this type or should or can I go to a electrionic ballast?
The electronic ballasts are more efficient and you do not have to worry about probe starts vs pulse starts. They are also more expensive (about double). Personally I have a magnetic ballast and I'm happy with it so I guess it would be your preference.
