I have a 75G Measures 48L, 20H, 18D I'm thinking of retro fitting two 250W 14000K ice cap metal halide kits and 4 54W HO true actinics for lighting. My question is would this enough or too much for a variety of soft and stony corals? I know there's no simple answer for this I'm hoping someone has had experience with this setup. I would appreciate any insight you may have.

Thank you for your time

Sounds good to me. I have 10w/gal in my 25gal, which is a 250w MH and some blue LEDs

I dont think its too much although I'd do the halides plus two super actinic VHO over the four t5s. color is better and wattage/heat would be the same.

I had 2 175 MH and 2 T8 antic...(I think) in my 75 and grew all the corals I wanted including Acros,
In my 120 I have 2 250 MH and 2 T5 antic that work just as well. that should be plenty of light.
