Metal halide small spotlight?

Hi, Has anyone ever seen or heard of anyone using smaller metal halide spotlights over a small area of an aquarium to add extra light for some high light loving corals or clams? I already have power compacts over my tank and would like a little spotlighted area for some clams. I don't really want to place halides over the entire tank as I hear that they run hot and do not want to buy a chiller. Also I kind of don't like the $500 plus price tag of halides for the whole tank. Has anyone seen a little spot light that maybe 70 to 100 watts that would not look too bad hanging over the tank to spot light a little area. I don't really want to spend more than $150 or so on it????

hey Nick
if SW.com sells it and the site you link to sells anything they sell it is.
so if SWF.com sells ballast and these companies sell ballast yeah it is.
if in Question email the link to someone if they want it so that it isnt on the post.

lesly I have seen them but IMO its better to do the hole tank you can just watch the classifieds on here and in your paper and probably find a used setup that wont cost as much as a new system.
most corals have the ability to move and probably will so if you place a spot light on a spot and the coral doesnt like that area and moves then you have to move the light or move the coral but it will probably just move again.
