any one think i should either go with 2X250 watts 3X250 or 2X400 which one would be the best to buy oh yeah i have a 90 gallon tank

i have 2 250's on my 90 and love them they keeep my tank at a very consistant 80.2-81.5 and i run no heater and my tank only drops.5-1 degree every night.( you should get a coralife digital thermoniter it tells you exactly what temp.) so i wouldnt get anything any stronger un less you get a chiller

I also think you have the BEST rockwork EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah i have a 1/3 HP chiller coral life it has a digital temp built right in

2x250 would work fine and not give the middle shading from the crossbrace..

WOW That is VERY nice rockwork, good question also, I have a 90 gallon Im setting up and was looking at the same 2-250 lighting. If you dont mind me asking how many pounds and what type of rock is that?

around 150 lbs of figi and the rock all the way to the lower right is bali
