Metal in tank

I try to keep all metal out of my tank but I'm wondering, Is brass ok?

If I'm correct the salt in the water will corrode any type of metal and foul your water so I would advise not putting brass in your tank.

Brass is an alloy of copper. Isn't it?

Brass is a mixture of Copper and Zinc, not good for the tank..

by definition any metal can corrode

Yes alum does corrode. it just takes longer.
