Metallic Blue Grouper

Hi all:
I am getting back into saltwater fish keeping after a 3 year hiatus and am planning to set up a 300 gallon tank soon. However, one of the fishes I must have for this tank is a Metallic Blue Grouper (Anyperodon sp.) I have seen them for sale once at my LFS and they told me they got 2 more later on. I am simply fascinated by this fish and was wondering if anyone here either has one that can share info with me or know where I can order one.
I currently have a 55 gallon fully cycled and empty fish-wise where I could house it until I finish setting up the 300 gallon tank.
Here is a pic of the fish in question scanned from the book Reef Fishes volume 2.
Thanks,
Ivan

I am not sure I follow your 2 cents Sharkboy13. I understand that nobody can post links to other sites as the rules state but I would imagine that if anyone has info on availability of this fish they would ask me for my email or other contact info. As for the groupers needing huge tanks, I am pretty sure I can house them in a 300 gallon tank with little problems. The closest relative to this grouper is Anyperodon leucogrammicus, the white lined grouper and it reaches 2 feet so I am good in terms of housing it. I mentioned the 55 gallon as the quarantine/temporary housing until I set up the tank completely.
If I misunderstood the info you were trying to provide me I apologize and please feel free to clarify.

you will have to do your own searching for a place to buy. We do not allow posting of emails to get this information its just like posting it on the board itself.
From the picture above its a very nice colored fish I havent seen or heard of them before though.

Sharkboy was trying to say that asking for emails, sites, etc. is against the rules. While there are some good resources online, many are either affiliated with forums, sites that advertise competitors, or competitors directly. Asking for a link and asking someone to email you a link amount to the same thing.
Hope that clears things up.
