Metallic Blue Mushroom Coral...

My LFS is selling a little mushroom frag for 20 bucks. It is maybe the size of a penny. I think it seems a bit pricy, but it saves the hassle of ordering online (no offense to swf.com). However, seeing as how I have no clue what to expect when it comes to this (still a coral n00b), I thought I would ask some people who know

So, who wants to make a dumb kid feel smart?

Is it just a regular mushrooms, not a ricordia or yuma or anything? It is pricey, I know a lfs near me was selling mushrooms for $20 a polyp also and they happened to be ones that are spreading like wildfire in all my tanks and becoming a headache. I told them I'd bring them a 100 if they would pay me $5 a polyp. Anyways it's pricey but blue is a desirable color and it will probably spread fast after a while and pay for itself. Nothing in this hobby is cheap so spend some cash if you want it. They are pretty much unkillable if it's a regular shroom.

i would get it, its inexpensive compared to shipping online. and as petjunkie said it will proabably pay for itself eventually.

It's not a ricordia or a yuma; just a regular mushroom. They sell single red mushrooms for 18 apiece there, too (as opposed to four bucks each at my other store back home). But I appreciate the input.. Looks like I'm going to get a new mushroom tomorrow
