MH 10k vs 20k which pic you like better?

Well Now I have both bulbs Dual 400 watt so which do you like better?, pics are close to actually color,will the blue get more white?,

From the pics I like the 10k better, I've heard the 20k break in and don't look so blue though.

How long is the burn in period?, yeah looks a little different in pics but close, im still undecided?I like the fact that the 10ks look like real sunlight is on the tank,

both pics are with VHOs on, 2 actinics, 1 50/50, 1 aquasun,
4 bulbs,140 watts each

My 20K's took about 2 weeks to burn into a crisp white color. My camera still shows them as being very blue, but to the eye they look white. I prefer the 20K's.

I like the 2nd one. Very nice easier to look at.

I would also turn the actinics of with the 20k, there really not needed IMO when the bulb is on.. when the bulb is off thats another story I like them for sunrise and sunset but i prefer to keep them off when the 20k is on

My big thing is how the corals appear. I like the way that acros look with the extra blue light. The zooanthellae just seem to light up and it seems to give better detail to the corals polyp expansion. What do you think Plum? Do you think the corals themselves look better under the 20K or 10K?

Its a tough call, , I like them both, but I think I will leave the 20ks in for the 2 weeks or so, so they burn in , I run them 2hrs a day now, will increase them slowly, I have no SPS yet, so its tough to say, the Zoos, Shrooms brains and anemones love the light, some of my big leathers close a little with the MH then open and are happy with the VHO,Rock looks better with 20k, looks bleached with 10k, fish colors? Jury is still out
