What do you think for a reef tank, 10K or 14K bulbs

I am using 250 w on a 150 gallon. how big is your tank? As far as the 10k or 14k its a matter of color choice. I run 14 k bc I like the color. The 10k has a better growth rate, but you would want some antinics for the right "look".

Sounds good. 10k will be whiter, 14k mid blue, 20k most blue.
Growth rates are better the closer to 10k. A good scenario would be the 10k with some blue actnics. I went with 14k MH w/o actnics and I personally like it. Plus later on I could always buy 10k bulbs and some t-5's.
