MH and actinic

HI i am new to MH lighting and puting togather a reto. I was wanting to know if i go with 2 250w xm de 20k hqi bulbs would i need to have some actinic too. any info would help thanks. Tank is 120 48x2x2

I doubt you'd need atinic supplementation with 20k bulbs.....The XM 20's are great as PAR readings though.

So with this in mind i should be able to keep most stuff. I got 1 last question how long dose the MH bulb last 6 months or longer.
