MH Canopy

I have a 120 Gal Tank
Measurments are
60.5 Inches Long
18.5 Inches Wide
How high should i make this canopy?? It will house 3 - 250w 10,000k Metal Halides. And if theres room ill mount my pcs in there as well.
So how high should i make this canopy?? Also, how many fans will i need to install in this canopy to make sure it dosent get too hot?

I would make the canopy around 10-12 inches tall. That way you have room to adjust the heigth of your bulbs. Also 2-3 fans should get the job done.

My canopy is 15 inches high and the bottom of my MH's are about 11 inches off the water.

I agree mine is about 15 above the tank. I didnt put a top on mine so that most of the heat escapes out the top i also run two fans pushing air out. I have two 250watt and two 48' vho lights. My tank is a 110
