MH equipment question

Hey all,
After seeing some really nice SPS tanks on this board, I have been toying with the idea of changing my 29 gallon to a SPS tank instead of a deep water tank. I have been looking at very sites on the web for MH setups and have found a bunch of different options. After reading peoples' recommendations on this board, I was thinking about a 250w 20000K, or maybe a 10000K with some PC atinics. At any rate, all the sites I have looked at have lists of things to buy, but no list of things you need. I know I need a ballast, socket and bulb, and probably a fan, but is there anything else I need? Also, about how much should this cost? I have found estimates from a few hundred $ to over $500. Any and all help appreciated.

sounds like all you would need cept the reflector
i have a dual 250 watt mh setup comes complete with quick disconnects dual switches , cords and 48 inch reflector
also has 2 5500k venture bulbs, its been used for 8 hrs total
if you want this for your 125 and take some of that vho to your sps tank, ill sell the setup for $250ish

You don't want those bulbs. Anything under 6,500k will cause a big algae problem down the road. If you would like direct links and such e-mail me and I'll help you out. My e-mail add is in the sig.
