MH Fan Question

I recently saw a Metal Halide hood light system with the following specs and price...is this right?
24 inches
1 175 watts 10000K spectrum
2 PC lighting for 55 watts(actinic)
complete hood system
total price: $ 460.00 + tax
no fan in the hood per the LFS and that the ballast is located away from the hood. Is this something that I should be worried about????

you may be able to buy used and save a ton. With regards to heat from lights, yes there will be some, how much I don't know, depends on setup and room conditions. I have a 45 with (2) 96w pc and (1) 175w mh set 9 inches off water in open back hood, I get about 4-6 degree swing, enclosure temp is 98. Water goes from 80-85 without the fan. I run (1) 4" 90cfm fan and it keeps temp of water at 80 and enclosure at 72. I evaporate 1gal a day

You should be concerned about paying that price. You could do a diy project and pay half that. JMO
