MH fixture help

I am currently running the 48" Current Outer Orbit Extreme Pro 2X250 MH with 4 T5's and moonlights. I am on my 3rd set since November and have 2 of the 4 T5's out again. The 1st set were broken in shipping, the 2nd set had all 4 T5's go out at the same time about a month after getting them in, and now after about 3 weeks on the 3rd set one side of the T5's went out tonight. I am tired of the headache and am going to request my money back on the fixture and find a new one. I would like some of your opinions on a good fixture that I "shouldn't" have as many issues with. I do want to stay with MH's or combo T5/MH. I am not opposed to spending another couple hundred on top of the $850ish I should be getting back off this fixture. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Honestly this fixture is normally a great fixture. I agree that you've got fixture problems. The chances of multiple T5 lamps failing at once when it's not due to a fixture defect are... to say the least ... remote.
Another one of these fixtures would probably give you no problem. Any of the better brands like Sunlight Supply, Current, etc are all pretty good.
Stay away from the knockoff Jebo and Odyssea systems (and their mother ship, Aqua Traders). Numerous problems there.

hmm thats weird..i have the exact same fixture..running great for 7 months...corals and everyting else doing awesome...have u looked at the corallife aqualight, pretty much the same set-up but its a little more expensive...

Where these by chance UVL super actinics? If so there's likely your problem. It seems as though I have had 1 of 4 of these bulbs go out prematurely. Others have stated the same similar experience. I have used many of these and love the look. But bulb failure is(or hopefully WAS) common.
I agree with SCsinet, these are usually great fixtures. Have them swap it out as opposed to getting your cash back. Bulbs and all. You should be very pleased with it.
