mh height ?

so i got a 29 gallon tank and just upgraded to icecap 250w 10k mh hanging fixture. i have it 8in above the water was wonder if thats a good height or if i should move it up more. the tanks height is 19in.

Sounds good now. If it seems like corals are getting too much light you can always raise it.

Agree. Monitor the tempature too. Gets to hot might want to raise it and add fans. I have mine at 13" high but its 2 400w MH on a 125g
