MH lighting Q

I was wanting to buy some MH lights for m6 60 gallon tank. I was wanting to know how many watts do I need. The tank is 48" long

I guess it depends on what you want to keep. If you are looking to create a SPS dominated tank I would go with 2x250w. If you are looking to keep a mix of corals you might want to go with 2x150w or 2x175w.

I am getting lights Friday,Mh's 2-250w 10k, 1-150w 20k Aqua Fixture. Plus my original 260w pc's on my 110 gallon extra tall (30in).
If you don't want to limit yourself, go with the 2-250, and you can get anything. As long as you have some shadow areas in your lr for low light corals.
