Mh Lighting Question

I HAVE A 90 GAL REEF TANK-my lighting now is a 6x65w PC unit with cooling fan
I want to up grade to MH lighting
My question is which is the better lighting system?
1) a 2x250w-15000k Mh with 4x65w blue PC bulbs plus 12 moons
or 2) a 2x150wMH with 2 x T5HO and 12 moon
both units have german polished reflectors for each bulb.
this lighting question is driving me crazy---lol

i would go with 1. a lot more MH value, and the compacts give better color than t5's IMO. t5's tend to make things brownish in my experience.

i was in the same situation about a month ago..i have a 90g also...i figured i wasn't gonna keep a bunch of sps and i didn't want to get a chiller and my tank is only 2' deep...so i got the 150w version...i read in some other guy thread that his 250w system made his power go off from time to time...

if i wnted a pretty dominate sps tank id go with 1, ahh Wat da hell id go with choice one newayz
