MH lighting

If i just needed mh lighting for one or two things in an aquarium could i just get a pendant for that side of the aquaium and have pc or VHO lights for the other side? The only problem i can think of is that anenomes move, and they might move to a bad place where they dont get the mh light. Also it might make the aquarium lighting look "lopsided".

You bet you can, its a good way to go if thats what you want. And the Anenomie will move back into the light if he needs it, only the corals will need to be placed there or clams.But the anenomie will find the light it wants. Good idea, hope it works for you, it should.
