MH lights and algea on glass

Last month I switched from PC lights (440w) to 250W MH lights (750W total). Everything looked good at first but now it seems like I am cleaning the algea of the glass almost every other day when before I was only having to do it once ever 7 to 10 days with the PC lights. I am running the MH for 7 hours. Is this a normal break in cycle or am I not catching something? The ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and phosphates all test out at 0. I have also seen a couple of patches of algea recently on the sand and live rock as well but nothing too bad.

The same thing happened to me when I added my 250 W HQI MH. You may want to add a few more glass cleaning snails to help out.

Im hoping for a short outbreak. I did start off by having the lights on for a couple hours and slowly working up to the 7 hour period that they are currently on now in hopes that would help eliminate the possibilities of an outbreak.
