MH lights???

DO all MH lights need to be hung over the tanks? cuz of heat ?

if this pic loads,,,,,,you could do this for about 6 bucks with parts from home depot,,, i say it at a lfs and made one for mine

No...mine are installed in a canopy. They do need to be at least 8" or so above the water level to prevent splashs from damaging them...and some type of ventalation is often requiried to control heat ... but they don't have to be suspended.:thinking:

these are halide hqi DEs (have to mounted in a fixture whereas moguls dont)... but as you can see.. they are attached inside of the canopy

i wish i was handy enough to attach those halides and wire them correctly onto the canopy
