I am planning on getting a retro fit MH fixture and planning on making my own canopy.
How far should I mount the MH from the water?
I have heard 6, 8, 10 inches and don't know which to go with.
My tank is a 55 gallon, 18 inches high.
I am planning on getting 2 MH's 175 watts 10000K
