I know of a bunch in my area... here's my opinions...
Oceans and Seas - Roseville: Pretty good for fish
Pet Connection - Livonia: One of the best
The Fish Guy - West Bloomfield: New, not much stock but good prices and should get better
Choice Aquariums - Farmington Hills: Good but very overpriced on everything
***** - Novi: Not bad, good prices
The Fish Tank - Westland (I think): Great store, small but great
Aquatic Discoveries - Mound Rd. (Not sure what city): great for corals/inverts, cool display tanks, great place to shop for tanks, stands, etc.
Bad LFS...
The Aquarium - Livonia: they don't know much, will try to sell anything
Greenwoods - Garden City (I think): Poor conditions, no selection, no knowledge
These are the ones I know. Let me know if you know of others.

Thanks for the opinions. I'll list the stores I've been to. I don't remeber all the names right now, bear with me. I'll list the locations.
Wayne rd. north of ford rd - I think this is the fish tank.
Wayne rd. near cherry hill, next to 7-11
Ann Arbor rd. about 1/2 mile east of I-275
Middlebelt and 5 mile (I think)- maybe the aquarium?
Saginaw street in Flint
M-59 and old us-23 - hartland
Theres one on telegraph near I-94 that I've heard of but haven't been to.
also I've heard about a place called tropicorium in romulus that opens on weekends to the public, one person told me they have "the best corals in the state", do you know anything about this place? They have a web site but I don't wanna post it as it may be a competetor of this site, not sure.

If you ever decide to drive on over to the Grand Rapids area, there are some nice ones around here too.
