Michigan: SouthDown at Commerce HD Now!!

For those in Michigan looking for SouthDown - Home Depot stores can now order it. I just picked up 10 bags from the Commerce HD!
Right now the Commerce HD (248-624-0196) has 5 pallets of it!!
This is the real SouthDown 50 pound bags for $6.99 each. The guy at this store who got this going is Eli (Garden Dept.). He said the price is higher than what you can get in Ohio because of the extra frieght cost. He also said this is his second order of 5 pallets as the first 5 sold within a week. If it's gone talk to Eli as he's the head of the Garden Dept and responsible for the ordering of it.

GREAT TO HEAR!...just a little too late for me. I'm in MI also and couldn't find Southdown at my Home Depot so instead I just got Lowe's Quikcrete "playsand". After rinsing it a few times (yuck) I realized that if we added that to our tank we would have a mud bed instead of a sand bed. Instead we just went to lots of LFS and got lots of reef sand ($15 a bag), too bad we were so impatient.
