Micro Bubbles

I have TONS of micro bubble emanating from my live rock. My water quality is okay, and there is no excess food in the water. I have a 14 gallon Biocube with two fish and 7 pounds of live rock (I know I need more). My tank is under renovation, though it is up and running until we can find any sand sifting crabs for sale. Does anyone know why my tank looks carbonated with micro bubbles?

Are they coming from your return? If not, its algae bioproducts, i.e. oxygen and other gases. Increase the flow maybe, but the primary issue is nitrates or phosphates. The tiniest trace of NO3 can fuel algae, so in most cases, this is the cause.
