Microbubbles problem from my skimmer

I tried finding a fix for my coralife SS65. The overflow box gives off a lot of microbubbles...
my first question is if it's dangerous for my stock? I hate the way it looks to have bubbles all over my tank, but is it harmful??
what can i do to get rid of them?? I tried filling it w/ silicone (one of the mods) but that didnt help... any other suggestions?? if i place the overflow box underwater, the bubbles stop, but i'm guessing that defeats the purpose...thanks

I don`t mean to answer a question with a question,but doesn`t that skimmer come with a bubble box ? The hang on box with black filter sponge.

Your pump should be only 3"under surface and as far as the box is concerned ...i have CLSS125 .Make sure the hose isnt touching the bottom of box,its supposed to be about 1" off bottom of box ,then pull up black foam up over the top of the box about 1/2" or more. If that dosent work look here for mods.
