Mid-East Crisis

Everyone seems to be wondering why Muslim terrorists are so quick to commit suicide.
Let's see now
No beer
No booze
No bars
No television
No cheerleaders
No baseball
No football
No basketball
No hockey
No golf Soccer only, and all the time
No tailgate parties
No hooters
No pork BBQ
No hot dogs
No burgers
No lobster, shellfish, or even frozen fish sticks
Rags for clothes and towels for hats.
Constant wailing from the guy next door because he's sick and
there are no doctors
Constant wailing from the guy in the tower
No chocolate chip cookies
No Christmas
You can't shave
Your wife can't shave
You can't shower to wash off the smell of donkey cooked over
burning camel dung
The women have to wear baggy dresses and veils at all times
Your bride is picked by someone else
She smells just like your donkey
But your donkey has a better disposition
Then they tell you that when you die it all gets better!
No mystery here .
GOD BLESS AMERICA

Well do you have any idea WHY these missiles are launched?
In kossovo for example?
Have you any idea how many U.N. resolutions Israel and Turkish Cypriots have not complied to? Why not launch there?
And always keep in mind that for the British you were the terrorists a few hundred years ago, and what you accused the serbs of doing in Kossovo, you did on the Indians.
And Saddam was your creation to fight the Iranian fundamentalists and stop the commusist expansion southwards.
It is not a matter of who is stronger.
Everybody loses in a war, and more hatred is bred.

If you grew up without having the amenities that are available in countries such as the USA, that is what you would be used to. You wouldn't know a different life, so you wouldn't miss anything.
I have definite religious views myself, and they are not Muslim, however, terrorists are generally faction groups that have taken certain religious views to an extremist point of view. Their actions are not condoned by any of these religions that are being linked to them.
Muslims are not your problem. Terrorists are. And I have news for you. Not all terrorists are Middle Eastern. Look at what's his name (John Walker I believe?) who joined a terrorist camp? He was from the USA!
The incident in Oklahoma City was carried out by an American citizen.
I am not calling religious beliefs into question here. I do not agree with the beliefs of the Muslim community. That is irrelevant to this situation, however.
Put the focus in the proper direction.

A terrorist is just that, a terrorist. His or her religion has absolutely nothing to do with that simple fact. By using any kind of "prefix" to the word terrorist we are attempting to "validate" the terrorist's rational for his or her deeds. There simply is no validation for terrorism, it's a vile, cowardly act. There are terrorists in virtually every country, acting under the guise of virtually every religion. ALL are TERRORISTS, ALL share the common misconception that THEIR way is the RIGHT way. Killing is not right, intentially killing INNOCENT men, women and children has NEVER been accepted by any RELIGION, yet has been done in the name of every known God. The bottom line is that there is no such thing as a Muslim Terrorist, there is however such a thing as a Terrorist using the name Muslim in a feeble attempt to justify his or her actions. A true Muslim, Christian, Catholic, Buddist or Wiccan would never use his or her God to justify the bloodshed of innocents.
Just my .02 of course and thank God I live in a country that let's me spend it freely!

Paul

Terrorists have existed in Italy, Germany, France, Greece, the UK, and they had nothing to do with religion. My point is that these people find fertile ground in societies where social inequalities and other injustices exist. So the sort term solution is to kill or put behind bars the terrorists. However, if the real issues are not addressed they will always reappear.

i thought the first post was funny. I would not want to live over there and have no intentions of going over there. well, i personnaly have no intentions , but being a 21 year old male . . . .
as a thought for the person that said we were the terrorists a few hundred years ago . . if you read the history you would know that while yes we did fight the british, during the rev, and the french before the rev, mass attack on civilians were never in the play book.
I'm not going to get into the amer indian thing, leave it said that it was not our best hour, also two wrongs do not make a right,
something to think about, it is unfortunate that civilians get killed in battles and or attacks, however there is a difference between attacking a military target and accidently killing some and PLANNING to kill a civilian "soft" target. There was nothing accidental about flying 2 civilian planes into 2 civilian buildings. just my .02

Azeritis...
There is no underline cause or "real issues" for terrorism of any flavor...nor by any nationality. Terrorism is an aggressive act against others with the intent to cause fear, death and damage. With that in mind...there is only one way to deal with terrorism and the USA is doing it appropriately...it has nothing to do with race, ethnic background or religion.
As a long term veteran of our nations military, and a proud US citizen...I stand behind the course our President has taken.

Osolow,
On your last post are you sure you don't mean 9-11? 7-11 is a little steriotypical don't you think:D I've always found 7-11 to be a pretty safe place:) I'm just giving you a hard time, I agree. Just a little humor from your friendly U.S. Marine in N.H.
