Yesterday I replaced my crappy powerheads with new Hydor powerheads
When I got up this morning there was no sign of my Midas Blenny or my Flame Angel
I don't know what to do, I am freaking out they were my two favorites.
I don't see any fish outside the tank, I checked the overflow and theres nothing
I also preformed a 20% water change thismorning
I do have alot of live rock do you think that they are just hiding because they are not used to the new flow
My clowns seem to love the new flow and my beta is not acting any differant than normal

Have you tried feeding them to "draw" them out of hiding.... if they are? my guess is for the hiding because of a diffrent environment then what they were use to....

I fed the tank to no avail. I am still hoping they are just hiding and will show up soon
has this happened to anybody with either of these fish

I have both of them and they ARE hiding artists. Have you checked your water parameters to make sure you didin't stir up a bunch of stuff causing a spike of some sort?

I checked the params and nothing really seems wrong at all, I am going to bring water to the store and have them test it, just incase
its just not like either of them to not be out and about, how long do you think I should wait before I consider replacing them
I sure hope they are only hiding

Have you tried turning off the new power heads? How well can you move your rocks around with out stirring up a buch of stuff (or crushing them)to see if you can draw them out that way? IF they died you would see a spike because of the extra decay, so yeah getting a second opinion would be good.
