Midas Blenny Compatibility???

Well, my tank is getting to a point where i wanted it to get, which is not so much maintenance, clean, corals are growing, etc.
so i have a yellow headed sleeper goby already, and hes doing a fine job keeping the sand white.
but i was thinking of getting a midas blenny because of its color.
currently the only fish in the tank is the sleeper goby. i may add 3 blue chromis to the tank later on though.
so will the midas blenny get along with the sleeper goby? i read on live aquaria that the midas might nip gobys. is this true?
BTW, the tank is an oceanic 58 gallon. 36x18x21
lots of sand, lots of rock.

You'll be fine with that combo as long as the Goby is a bottom dweller. Midas spends majority of it's time in the water column and selects his/her home up in the rocks. You will not be able to put another blenny in the same tank. Midas does get territorial and in 58g tank there is only one territory.

I asked the same question for a 55g tank. I was told that the Midas Blenny would be compatible with a Lawnmower Blenny. Is this not true? Also, not sure what your LFS is like but you may need to order a Midas online. It seems they are rather hard to find even online. Not a fish that is always in stock. I have been watching for one on this website for months it seems.

I seriously do NOT recommend putting 2 blennies in 55. My Starry Blenny (close cousin of LM) nearly killed my Midas and both were the same size. This was in a 75g reef. I'm even hesitant to add another blenny to my 150g.

OK, thanks for the facts. It has been hard to find one so maybe have to wait for a different tank.
