Midas Blenny - dark healthy and happy

I have a 60 gallon cube reef tank. Lots of live rock. Perfect water conditions. I added a Midas Blenny to my tank. He was a beautiful yellow orange color for a week or so and then has gone to a purple blue hue. It has been about a month and a half. He swims with an orchid dotty back, a blue Chromis damsel and a six line wrasse. I read that Midas blennies will change color when stressed, but he is not stressed and happily swims around the tank. I also read that they will change color to more closely match the fish they swim with. This seems to be what he is doing.
I just added a lemon peel dwarf angel and it looks like he may be starting to get more of his yellow back. Could be wishful thinking.....
Anyone experience this?

I have a midas blennie but nothing like that has happened (even if I have a lot of yellow fish in my tank and I could be confused) he is always happily swimming but sometimes my blue head wrasse scares him

As long as our fish are healthy...it's all good. Seahorses are supposed to change color as well...( I have lots of red, and yellow in the tank) mine, no matter what décor is in the tank, stay chocolate brown with tiny white sparkles...so LOL...I feel your pain.

Well here is a picture a week or so after I added my Lemon Peel Angel and a Snowflake clown. Now that he has some other colors to school with, other than blue and purple, he seems ot be coming back to his yellow/orange coloring....crazy! So what I have read seems to be true that not only will they change color when stressed but they can change color to mimic the coloring of the fish that they are around. So now he is yellow/orange, healthy and happy!

I just discovered that my midas blennie does the same with my fox face lo because when I turn the lights or frightened he makes a very interesting color pattern and the midas blennie reacts immediately
