Might Start a 180 Gallon Reef, Need Advise

I have come across a 180 Gallon Acrylic Reef tank. I currently have a 55 gallon tank that I was working on building a sump for, but I might upgrade to this tank system instead. If I make the move, what do I have to do to cycle it correctly? I'm assuming most of the water will need to cycle, because I only have 55 gallons to move to it with 140lbs of Live Rock and 50lbs of Live Sand, leaving a lot of new uncycled water. (I will add more rock and sand of course.) My biggest problem is I need to put the new tank where my current tank is. What should I do with my rock and livestock while the new tank is cycling? Is there a way to speed up the cycle process?
Thanks.

I cant speak for you but I would definitely make the move. I love my 180 and if I knew I wouldn't have to move it somewhat soon I would have gotten even bigger. Youll need a lot of sand and some of the sand from your 55 at first to get it moving and I'd just mix up a whole new batch of SW then get the equipment running and drop a raw shrimp in a cheese cloth and start your tests through the cycle process. Just do a lot of reading thoughout the boards. Good luck!
