do i have to keep the air valve on the filter always up? or can i turn it off when i sleep? it is really anoying to sleep with so i turn it off. does it matter?
I actually do the opposite, but that's cause my tank is in family room with TV.
I have the 3000 and open the air valves at night, close during the day.
But yes - you can open and close them as you see fit.
