Millennum Hang On

I'm using a Millennum 3000 hang on on my new SW tank. I have LR and a CC base with 1 Yellow Tail Damsel. Should I take the carbon cartridges out of the filter system while the tank cycles. Its be over 2 weeks now and the amonia levels have stayed at 0 the whole time so I dont think the cycle has even started.

If your LR is cured you will not see much of a jump in ammonia. Carbon will have very little afect on the nitrogen cycle. It is used to remove dissolved pollutants and to clear up the water.
