well i was reading one old posts from here and this guy had a mici tang in his 30 gallon. how come nobody that posted in his thread got on to him? i mean im pretty sure nobody got onto him and he didnt say he was moving the tang they were sayin it was an awesome tang. is it okay to keep a mimic tang in a 30?

If its the thread I saw the tang was a new Juvie and the guy said he had a 120 that he was going to put it in later. Most of the Tang Police are understanding to people who understand.....
Mimics are one of the smaller species of tangs and IMO a juvie would be OK temperally or short term for QTing or to grow out to be ready for larger fish in a larger tank ect. But only if you have the larger tank already and not the standerd I will get one later because later may not happen.

well im not sure. i could have mis read the thread some but i dont wonna go back to it because it was a old thread. but i was never planning on putting a tang in a 30 gallon or any tank close to that size.

Mopar I have a Mimic Lemon Peel tang in a 120g and still feel that it is just barely a big enough tank for any tang. I love Tangs though so as soon as we move I'm gonna upgrade to a 180-220g.
