Ive looked and looked but cant figure out where to buy one of these, i just think that they are awesome.
Does anyone know where i can get some?

Oh...Well, does anyone know of anywhere that they can be found, you dont have to give competitor names, i just want to know if its possible to find them

p.s. i dont appreciate the lack of help, and the attitude, im getting from the last two posters...although this seems to be the trend on this forum...
and spanko...I have seen you help so many people on here, not enough to go around to me?

i googled them and found some on the second page.

it's hard because you can't post competitiors sites. Yes you can find them. Sometimes they are hard though. I have never personally seen them in any LFS around me. PM DeMartini.

Wow, okay. She is the only one i know of on here who keeps them,....sorry i can't be of more help. You may just have to start searching the different sites honestly.....google is prolly the best for this. i know you dont want to hear that. You can also search craigs list for a lot of things and contact people breaking down their tanks in your area.

I miss out on a lot in these forums from work (yeah I'm like a Maytag repairman not a slacker) as work blocks a lot of pictures unless you manually upload them to this site and most links don't work.
I would second on this is probably a google thing though. From there maybe you can find a supplier unless a private party has one which would be a luck of a find.
I'm not sure what spanko posted as all I get is a broken picture but I don't think anything offensive was meant.

nah, he posted a little guy that says google is your friend.........it wasn't meant badly but the OP doesn't want to hear that. He wants more concrete info and I can't blame him. It is frustrating sometimes to hear,"search for it". You just have to sometimes unfortunately.....:(

True, on the flipside I remember responding to someone who "looked everywhere" for something... and a 2 second google search.. first result came up with the info. I'm not against asking anything here... I'm just saying if that much effort was really put in looking everywhere --- umm and the info was on the 1st google hit... how much effort was put in.
Research is a big part of the hobby and a lot of people just want gimme answers.... THIS IS IN NO WAY related to the mini carpet question, I just think some of the veteran people on the forum forget (myself included) how uninformed we once were and feel people should actually search a bit first.
There's a lot of info out there and hard to weed through it and that's what makes it easy to just ask -- like people should.... but not at the cost of foregoing some real research and self education.
(again its 4am and I'm probably rambling cuz no one is posting anything else lol)

The best bet it to look around on local forums. They were really popular around my parts about a year or more ago, so there seems to be a nice few available locally. If they weren't so popular, or if they are just becoming popular in your area, your local trade/sell forums may not be much help.
