Mini dolphins

You know how they have mini-doberman pinschers and toy poodles and mini this, mini that? I wish they had little mini dolphins like 3 or 4" in length. That would be cool
You could purposely lower the water level in your tank and set up hoops with flames and stuff. That would be the coolest thing ever. And then they would roll over and you could rub their belly. Too bad it can't be done......or can it?

lmao! i never thought of that, but that would be amazing. Maybe we can hijack that machine from "honey i shrunk the kids" and make our own mini dolphins... interesting...

....... i would probably kill it by trying to touch it too much but it would be an exelent idea..... when you come up with the breed let us know.

I wonder if they would get annoying sometimes with that eek sound they make, kinda like the way a parrot squawks real loud. I bet they would be expensive too. I'd still get one....or five.

I thought about that, how cool would that be?! Also, there's no such thing as a "mini doberman pinscher" its a miniature pinscher, the "doberman" is the large dog.
Sorry, I'm a dog person.

weeeheeew! That would be amazing. Then we could fight the dolphins and the sharks, and you know the dolphins would win, but it'd be fun to see them torpedo the sharks!

speaking of dolphins........I am heading to FLA next weekend and I am going to see Winter the dolphin that lost her tail fluke due to fishing lines. She is recovering at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and awaiting a fitting for a prothetic (sp)
I would want mini dolphins and manatees. :joy:

Wow... you know, technically this could be done... I mean how many generations of selective breeding from a wolf to a toy poodle are there?
All me need is one serious breeding facility.
Of course the relatively long gestation periods of marine mammals is going to hinder us greatly.
Now... everyone start saving your coins, cause you're going to need a bigger skimmer when we start introducing dolphins and whales to our aquariums.

Actually there are "mini-dolphins" You guys have never seen freshwater dolphins? They are about 6-7".They are so cool. The one I had ate out of my hand and would bring his body halfway out of the water and swim backward, it was very cool. They have alot of personality and love to "play". They are sensitive to high ammonia, trites or trates, but other than keeping good water quality they are not difficult at all.

nah.....I've seen them before. A LFS here in STL breeds them. I forgot what they were called. They are cool though. Freshwater. I'll have to call them and ask what they are named.
Elephant nose is coming to mind. I will look it up when I get back from
kids school.
