Miniature Tube Worms

My Mom's tank has one rock that is just covered in teeny tiny tube worms - at least that is what they look like. They have loooooong grayish-white tubes that run over the rock or emerge from holes in the rock, and tiny feather-dusterish heads about the size of a pencil eraser. The feathers are a single layer. They are white, and my mom just loves them. I am wondering does anyone else have these and are they actually feather dusters, or something else?

Yes they are the norm really.
They are a feather duster worm but the size you see is most likely the size they will stay......

Well, they are really cool looking. There are so many of them it almost looks like coral until you get in close.
