Miracle Mud vs. Kent Biosediment

Hello Group.
Does anyone have a comment on either of these as a refugium base? I seen some info that Miracle Mud has a high silicate base and other "terrestial" components.

I have used Kent in a couple of hang on back refugiums. I can't really tell if they hurt or help anything. The theory sounds good on both.
