Miracle Mud

What is the mud concept I have been hering about?

On the advice of my LFS I went with the miracle mud in my fuge. Looks awesome in my tank. I would love to here some other stories though. Here is the principle water goes from overflow to refugium(they make a hang on model also). Filters through bioball then spills into actual refugium, where the mud is, along with caluerpa(macro algae), the through more bio-balls and pumped back up to main tank. I altered it a little bit. I have my water pass through live rock(don't like bio-balls), then the fuge an then back to tank. Anyway this method calls for no skimming, or other filtration. I'm very early into my tank so I would say look for other opinions.

i use miracle mud in some of my systems. i have nothing to complain on about it. i've been using it for almost two years now.
