misbehaving yellow tang

Has anyone else had this experience?
I have an all soft coral reef tank. Recently, I put two Capnella tree corals in, they did well at first but now the polyps are never opened for the last 2 weeks. All other corals are fine. I have noticed that my yellow tang picks at the Capnella corals only, not others, and I think this is the problem. Anyone else have this problem or should I suspect something else?

That is very likely the problem. Yellow Tangs are grazing fish, thus you need to give them something to graze on all day long. Have you offerred the tang some green vegetable on a lettuce clip? This provides excellect grazing for vegetarian fish, not to mention supplement the diet of a fish that really needs to eat predominately greenstuff.
