look on the floor, or in back of the tank.
is you cat not eating much today?
netx look in back of you rocks.
your crabs are eating them.
hard to lose a flame. it has to be dead.

Believe it or not same thing happened to me with 3 Chromi's. Disappeared without so much as a trace, no bones, fins or anything! I thought this was the wierdest thing. I finally figured out that it was my hermit crabs. Problem solved whin I took them back to lfs and gave them to the owner. He asked if they had been eating my fish and I said that I did not know for sure but they are the only culprits in the tank. He indicated that if there is not sufficient algae in the tank for them to feed on then they have a tendency to turn into predators. I am now of the belief that hermit crabs are EVIL!!!

Hermits can make a ghost fish in no time if you have enough of them.. It might have died during the night and your cleanup crew did its job.. Oh 3 fish.. lol.. ok lets look at this again.
I'll tell you whats on my suspect list.. Those anemones and that lion.. I watched an anemomy eat a maroon clown.

I had the same thing happen with 2 green chromis in one night. I never did figure it out. I broke the tank down and moved a few months back and never found a trace of them. I had emerald crabs and hermit crabs as the only possible culprits. Good luck.
