missing fish?

I had a 5" lunar wrase...He is now missing. I have an anenome roughly half the size of a football. The anenome now looks bigger. :help: Does anyone think what I think happened? And has anyone had an anenome eat a fish?

Anemones can inflate themselves.
I don't think your anemone ate your lunar wrasse. It is in a Lunar Wrasses nature to bury itself under substrate to sleep or evade enemies.
How long has he been in the tank?
How long has he been missing?
They are also jumpers, check the floors if your tank isn't covered properly.

i think maybe the anemone ate your fish because my friend mallory had a similar situation but hers there was only one kind of fish and hers disapeared ... she never did find out what happend...:happyfish

i name it the fish monster a distant cousin to the sock monster but a more primitive water dwelling creature that feeds on fish instead of socks from your dryer there is no way of getting rid of it no matter how many water changes or powerfull skimmers it has surivived the test of time. Sorry for your loss but i couldn't resist
